Linden - Forrest Allen Guard, 44 died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette where he had been seriously ill two weeks. Born in 1912 near here, he married Mabel Marie Martin in 1933. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and Elks Lodge, the latter at Crawfordsville. He was a farmer. Surviving besides the widow are three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Ann Coopman of Lafayette; Mrs. Patricia Mae Waltz of Linden and Miss Phyllis Sue Guard at home; one son, Floyd Timothy Guard also at home; one sister, Mrs. Louise Knox of Lafayette and an aunt, Mrs. Ada Guard in whose home he was reared.
